I just thought this was a trite ep. But then again, im still bitter about all the stargates just reusing star trek stories. But a cop taking over his own station is a bittoo blah for me. And wouldnt a 'real' terrorist leave the suitcase inside the station so more people would be killed. thats the first thing i thought when i saw it was outside.
I think this is one of the most underrated shows on tv. Even a "weak" episode is head and shoulders above the rest of what passes for entertainment.

It's not as though Star Trek had any original stories to speak of, they swiped them from all the SF stories that had been done for years.

But a cop taking over his own station is a bittoo blah for me.It's not the same, though. He didn't "take it over", he just barricaded himself in the briefing room. He didn't have any demands except to be left alone.

i assumed everyone stopped what they were doing to respond...not just went about their normal business of typing, working out at the gym etc. To me that's taking over

Since he wasn't a real terrorist or really trying to hurt anyone, that would explain why he didn't leave the bomb in the station..... right?
I thought that it was a very well acted episode though. The suicidal ex cop did a fantastic job I felt.
