I liked this episode.

The return of John Jones -- and the introduction of Dan Turpin.

If it wasn't obvious before, it is now. Chloe knows Clark's secret -- and Green Arrow and the Martian Manhunter, as well. She may end up as Oracle yet.

A no-holds-barred fight between Lana and Mercy, with what looked like some halfway decent moves by Kristin Kreuk and Cassidy Freeman. (Of course, I do tend to be easily impressed.)

Only things I didn't like were (1) still no Lois and (2) Clark, after almost realizing the need for the Justice League, regresses yet again and wants to chuck it all for a shot with Lana. This really has to stop.

At least once in every episode this year, I've yelled, out loud, at the TV: "Just put the damn suit on already!" No exception here.

Okay episode. It didn't register until near the end his partner was Dan Turpin.

Weirdness with my episode for next week. I wanted to look at the DTiVo description of it, but my Season Pass said "no upcoming episodes." But when I looked in the guide data for next Thursday, it shows up. Out of curiosity, I looked at Supernatural and same thing. So I set up recordings of both programs from the program guide just in case DTV doesn't fix the issue. (I missed 3-4 episodes of Friday Night Lights because of a similar issue).

So check on your to-do lists for next week!

Is the actress that played "Danny" Turpin's wife related to Erica Durance? She looks like she could be her sister! :)

*edit*

Apparently actress Sarah Smyth (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm1222371/) is not related. I would have lost that bet in Vegas!

I thought that this was a good episode up until the last couple of minutes.
Then I started going, "No, no, no, God no! Nooooooooooooooooooooo!"

I hope this is over by the end of the next episode.

Another Canadian.

Apparently Hollywood is outsourcing its acting jobs to overseas, just like the rest of corporate America. :D

(Yes, I know Smallville films in Canada, so it would get most of its bit players from there.)

Okay, thought I was pretty familiar with the Superman mythos but who the heck is Dan Turpin?

Ugh. Smallville had progressed so far this season and then we get this episode. I have no idea who Dan Turpin is in the Super-verse but Clark impersonating a cop was just dumb. Kristin Kreuk's beautiful but it's past time for Lana to re-exit, stage left.

Wow im surprised some of you thought this was a good episode, I thought that was a horrible one. How about the giant plot holes like Clark being at the hospital already when Jones was shot. Felt like an afterschool special episode. Lose Lana already and lets focus on Lois. Also how about Clark actually fight a villain for more then 1 episode.

Last week was great, this week was back to bad writing...

Please note: I said I liked this episode, not that it was good. :p

Dan Turpin is one of the few cops who interacts (or at least did) with Superman in the comics. Of course, that was several DC Universe reboots ago...

(Of course, I do tend to be easily impressed.)Kruek is staring in "Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun-Li" which comes out in February. She probably had some fight training for the movie.

Turpin plays a large role in Final Crisis.

I'm pretty sure that the doctor treating MM in the hospital was the actor that plays Gaeta, on BSG, right? After recognizing him I was surprised his part was so small - though Oliver laid the groundwork for it as a recurring role by saying the doc is privy to MM's secret.

Yeah he's the same actor. That was my assumption as well, that he'll come into play more later.

"Kreuk recently signed onto the upcoming film Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun-Li, in which she will play Chun Li."

It seems I smeeked, sorry.
