There it is. Denny is there for Izzy because she's sick and she's gonna die. Which is what I suspected the very first time he said, "I'm here for you."

Personally, I'd prefer Melinda Gordon (Jennifer Love Hewitt) to be helping me make the transition. :D

Little Grey broke Mark Sloan's whatzit. Ouch.

I'm glad the dead-guy storyline will come to a close. Really was not working for me.

Were there any indications Izzy was ill in any way, other than flakiness or seeing dead people? I don't recall. Maybe brain tumor?

OK, so I stupidly forgot to tivo this and got home too late to buffer back enough. (we were out selling Girl scout cookies) Please please -- spoiler tags if necessary -- just give me the point of the Izzy/Denny thing so that I can find out what daughter and I missed.

I think they already said it - she is sick and he was there to help her - it sounded like cross over??? I half thought she was going to kill herself and end up being the organ donor for the kid...

I almost laughed out loud during Shepard's asking Bailey if he should put down the scalpel... Bad enough they want us to believe that open brain surgery is going to be stopped by another doctor coming in and doing a scene.

This show has really gone down hill.

At least that's (hopefully) the last of the stupid Denny storyline.

I liked that storyline before they resurrected him from the dead. Now I hate him. :(

This show is going downhill so fast, I can't stand watching it anymore. My wife still likes it, so I'll be roped in a while longer, but jeesh! I really hope that Denny is gone for good!

The implication is he is. He said that his job was to get her to figure out that there was something wrong. She now knows that and she can kick him to the curb if she wants.

As to whether she is gone we will have to see. It could be cancer or heart stuff or just a coming trauma based accident. One thing from last nights episode was that the boy recovered. So it's possible she will recover.

Didn't the producers say that she will not have a brain tumor?Yes, Shonda Rhimes has said in several interviews that Izzy does not have brain tumor; That popular theory is false.but...On the show's writers' blog for this episode, they do say "Izzie is sick. We don’t know how bad it is or whether Denny is some sort of hallucination or weird manifestation of her sickness, but now at least the thing’s on her radar. "
