The Janis Joplin wikipedia page is already under lockdown after several edits that suggested that the late Ms. Joplin speedwalked everywhere and was afraid of toilets. :D
The hill witch payoff with Jenna had me literally lol'ing.

I thought it was sub standard (too a very high standard) episode. The last few eps have been great, this one not as much :)

I liked it much better than the last bunch of big-name guest star episodes. I thought this one was more classic 30 Rock. The stuff at the conference was very funny.
And I never get tired of Dr. Spaceman!

I loved the mental image of Tracy rolling around on a wheel like Rosie from The Jetsons.
I also loved how Judah Friedlander (can't remember the character's name) was so embarrassed to have hooked up with Jenna and had so many irons in the fire around the office.

Liz: Ok, we're going to improv a scene: what if Oprah went on a date with Sling Blade?
Liz: [pretending to eat something] I sure do like 'dem french-fried potaters.
Jenna: No you don't, Oprah.
I don't usually audibly laugh at things on sitcoms, but that one got me. I didn't even need the capper after the flashback ("Jenna's not very good at improv.")
Also: Tina Fey stripping down to her bra!

This made me chuckle as well. I love Dr. Spaceman.

Count me as another fan of Dr. Spaceman. He's good in small doses, when he just says something bizarre (dee-ah-bee-tays) and leaves.
I thought it was a "meh" episode overall, but the improv scene and Dr. Spaceman made it worthwhile. And Liz trying to help Jack at the end was pretty funny. Sad and pathetic but funny.
Tina Fey really doesn't mind making Liz a bumbling fool at times and I like that. She puts herself into some humiliating scenes for the humor, and a lot of actresses in her position would want Liz to be more glamorous and confident. But no, Liz is neither of those things.

"Borrowed" from Family Guy, when Peter's doctor is about to tell him his test results:
"I'm not quite sure how to say this. Kim Bassinger? Bass singer? Bassinger?"

But then you'd have to register as a motor vehicle.

Perhaps because there's some people where I work that are into the Six Sigma stuff (including one who's a Black Belt) and it drives me nuts.

You don't see very many African-Americans taking ski vacations to Aspen or Steamboat Springs -- thus, in Tracey Jordan's world, Colorado doesn't really exist.

But it worked out so well for Kobe Bryant.

My fav episode of the season so far. Lots of LOL moments. Love TM on wheels. I used to work where six sigma was a huge deal, so it made me crack up.

That is why I enjoyed it. As a Six Sigma Greenbelt, I had to pause to read the itinerary board. I wanted the five guys to be Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve and Control.:D

So wait, this "Six Sigma" thing they were talking about is something real? I assumed it was another one of their Scheinhardt Wigs type fabrications.

Oh it's very real. A buddy of mine worked at GE in the 90s and was all about this stuff.

Oh yes, very real. My previous company was big on Kaizen and Lean Manufacturing which are very similar just developed by different Japanese companies than Six Sigma.

Though I can't think of a great example(*), this joke has been used before and I usually don't think it's all that funny. But it worked this time... even though I predicted it when you saw her like that.
(*) Though it's not the same thing at all, the closest example I can think of _at the moment_ is Laverne or Shirley saying "the dumbest person in the world", then Lenny & Squiggy walk in. (Though now this tangents me on various "can you come up with more current examples" jokes lately, such as on The Daily Show.)

Not any more current, but I immediately thought of Frog & Toad and the ice cream. :D
I saw it coming early on but it was still funny.
