Who offers Cable Cards?

I'm looking to change my Cable company (currently Comcast), and my first call was to AT&T - but they don't have Cable Cards for their service.

My area also gets Direct TV, Dish Network, WOW (I think). What companies actually offer their service through Cable Cards, and who does it the best?

Uhm, well that would be Cable TV Providers.

Direct TV and Dish are Satellite TV Providers

AT&T Uverse and Verizon Fios are Fiber Optic TV Content Providers

WOW and Comcast are Cable TV Providers and the only one's you listed that will/can support CableCard.

Verizon FiOS supports cable cards. Many of us are using TivoHDs with FiOS. AT&T uses an IPTV model and it doesn't use anything like cable cards for conditional access.

Verizon supports them, but they're not a cable company. Our install was very easy when they were installed back in 2007.

Satalite serivice (DirecTV/Dish): NO

AT&T Uverse: NO

All TRUE Cable Companies: YES

Verizon Fios: YES

Those are your choices.

He is right. The only exception is if the cable company is very small, with low bandwidth and not very many customers.
