I just discovered this show this season, and I must say, I'm really enjoying it. I enjoy the brother, for some reason-he always gets a chuckle from me.
Am I the only one watching?

I watch it, it is enjoyable. I watch Gary Unmarried as well so since I record that I figure record NAoOC as I don't think there is anything in the half hour time slot I would like to record.

I watch it regularly, too.
And for those that get a little creeped out over the 'Dexter marries his sister' or the Amazing Race bother/sister teams who seem a little 'too' close, I'm not sure what you'd think of this show! Christine and her brother are always cracking on each other about how they are maybe a little too close for brother and sister. Funny stuff.
And a +1 about Wanda Sykes. I know some people can't stand her, but I find her hilarious in this show. :)

I Love this show. I just found out about it a few months ago, I've been watching from S1 to last nights episode non-stop.

I started watching this summer and love it. Now I have other stuff recording at that time, so I guess I'll catch up with this season next summer.

I've been watching since the beginning. Overall it's a funny show.

I like this show. Don't care so much for the "New Christine" but she was funny on lasts night show.
I know it's gonna be a good show, when the 2 moms from school are on it. They keep picking on Christine, but they are a bigger nutjob than she is.

I agree with the comments about Wanda Sykes. At times I find her to be too much in roles, but this one seems tailor made for her.
I'm also enjoying Gary Unmarried, but that's another thread. :)

She is funny, I like her delivery. Always a good show when she is on.

Another +1 for Wanda Sykes. I've never liked her in anything before this show. She is very funny here.
And Gary Unmarried is very funny as well.
Sitcoms may not be what they used to be but my wife and I love them. It's a nice break from all the serious shows we watch.

I like this show a lot, but the last couple of episodes have been kinda "meh". I usually like it best when Richard and Christine are fighting or competing in some way. The dialog in the show overall cracks me up though. Christine's brother is great too.
The actress who plays New Christine is just oddly miscast...

Not sure what this means but I sure hope this is not a spoiler as I have not watched the 3rd season yet.

No spoiler, there's just always been an underlying theme/joke in this show that Christine and Matthew (and maybe even more so, Matthew and their mother) are a little closer than families should be. ;)

Read the title of the thread. It says there are spoilers.

Spoilers for "New Adventures of Old Cristine" not Dexter. Didn't think I'd see a spoiler for Dexter in a tread about a different show. Hopefully 'Dexter marries his sister' is not a spoiler, don't know since I've not watched the 3rd season yet though it doesn't seem likely that Dexter would marry his sister.

Oh and on topic I do watch and enjoy New Adventures of Old Cristine. Is Richie (Cristine's son) still on the show ? I don't recall seeing him lately.

I've watched it from the beginning.. It's one of the few comedies I watch (office & Big Bang are the others).
I like new christine and her delivery.
And Richie seems to be missing. And they havent noticed... but that's normal for them. :)

It has nothing to do with the show's plotline. The actor who plays Dexter married the actress who plays his sister. That's in real life, not the show.

Oh I did not know that thanks for the clarification. That would have been a weird plot line for them to get married on the show.
Good for them getting married. Does not effect me watching the show at all. Can't wait to see season 3.

I never created a SP for this show because of Wanda Sykes. My impression was that she was the "best friend" and would be in the show a lot.
I've caught a few episodes since it began, and found them pretty funny, with Sykes nowhere in sight. If I'd known she was only on occasionally, I probably would've watched every week.

I've been watching Christine since the beginning. Love the show! Yes, it's your basic, predictable sitcom but that's ok with me. I love a good sitcom. I really enjoy Julia LD in whatever she does. Wanda Sykes is always funny. Just an all around fun show. They cover some really bizarro subjects!

Wanda Sykes has not been in every episode. The first season she only had small parts here and there. She has a much bigger part in the show this season.

Yeah, Richie hasn't been in it much lately. I'm guessing they're retooling the show a little to fit him in, he seems to have had quite a growth spurt. He was always rather incidental to the plots anyway except for setting the stage for the school centered plots, but I hope he gets to be in it still.
