Why is this on the slowest menu in Tivo?

The Music, Photos menu is so slow to load. Why on Earth did they put this new Search feature there? It should have it's own link on the main menu screen or something.

Because the Music Photos and More menu is loaded by HME (that's also why it's a slow-loading menu). TiVo can distribute new apps via HME without sending out a software update - they just change the menu items that get loaded. Since the new Search feature requires web access it makes sense to put it there anyway.

Well maybe if they got rid of some of the useless bloat in that menu it would load quicker.

It is so painfully slow. I Can do all that stuff on my PC much quicker.
