Tivo Newb needs a little help :)

Bought myself a UK tivo of the bay, purchased a 500gb upgrade drive and turbonet card.

Tivoweb works fine, copied the needed file across to fix the teletext problem with my toshiba tv - no problems there.

So far everything is working almost fine with just 1 minor problem.

Daily call seems to go through fine using network - but I dont seem to have much forward data for some channels - eg ITV 3, no data from Tuesday onwards.

Have redone guided setup - no luck.

My question is this.

If I do a clear prgramme data etc will this fix my lack of schedule information.


Or should I just delete and clear everything - as I have no programmes saved of real value yet. - but as its a larger drive with tivoweb installed - will this all remain ok after a full delete?

Also looking through the logs I find the following errors.

OTClient log

I would go for the 'Clear and Delete Everything' option. It will clear any possible database errors or problems the unit might have and give you a clean slate to start with.

I am pretty sure doing the 'Clear and Delete Everything' option will not delete or affect Tivoweb in any way

Thanks Graham, that sorted it out - no longer showing any errors in OTVerr.log - and all my schedule data seems to be fine now.

Now to start reading up on add ons for Tivoweb :)
