Tivo Lagging Like Crazy!

The Tivo has been lagging very badly, to the point that I can't watch anything. Everything is jumpy and broken up, it takes forever to get to the main menu and the now playing list, sometimes it doesn't get there at all. I just exchanged my broken Hard drive S3 for a new refurbished one a few months ago and it's messing up now.

Any suggestions?

You should always replace a broken hard drive with a brand new hard drive. Refurbished hard drives are nothing but trouble.

I think he meant he exchanged the ENTIRE UNIT not that the hard drive itself was refurb.

In either case, what he as now is refurb'd.
