Video to (not from!) TiVo!

I've set up my WiFi enabled TiVo with TiVo Desktop and I'm very happy. I love being able to pull my favorite shows off my TiVo through my home network onto my laptop so I can watch my favorite shows on my lunch break at work.

But is it possible to put video on my TiVo wirelessly, through my home network? I have a number of home movies I'd like to store and watch on the big screen.

I understand some mpeg to .tivo conversion would likely be needed and I've Googled a couple of those. But I haven't found out how to move the converted files to the TiVo to begin with.

Any advice, kind sirs and ma'ams?

I have both but I tend to prefer pyTiVo because it navigates faster from the TiVo menu.
