TiVo HD stops recording live TV

Every few days my TiVo HD will stop recording on Live TV. The video and audio is frozen, but the remote and menus still respond. I can rewind and watch what was already recorded on both tuners. I have to switch channels on both tuners for Live TV to start working again. I just got this TiVo HD and it came with an upgraded Seagate ES.2 1TB hard drive.

Where did you get the Tivo? I think the Tivo HD-XL comes with a Western Digital 1TB drive. I heard that some had problems with drives from Seagate.

It was from eBay. It was installed by the guy I bought it from. He even put his own label on the hard drive. I have a WD10EACS that I can throw in it. Seagate 750GB 7200.10 has been giving me trouble with both of my 649 models as well, but it wasn't this bad, just some minor pausing every now and then on playback, never recording. I hope that's all it is cause it'll be an easy fix.

I also have the same problem happening, have had my Tivo HD running for about 8 months. This started about a month ago, I'm not sure if this is a turner problem or a hard drive problem. Anyone else have this problem or have found a fix for it.
