Why did they only allow series 3 TIVO to get YouTube as part of the software? Has to be something simple that I am missing. I would so love to be able to download some youtube clips to my wireless Series 2 TIVO's.

The S2 doesn't have the hardware required to decode video in the format that YouTube serves.

pretty cool - just a bump for others that might be upgrading to Series 3 boxes..

Had/have a S2DT - and now that Comcast has gone all digital, upgraded to the Tivo HD which is a Series 3.

Happen to be flipping thru the extras menu area, games, radio, etc... and noticed Youtube was now a selection - tried it - and all the videos we posted of my son's track & swimmming were nice on the TV -

Fun to just search for things too... nice addition.
