TWC Austin. Installed the TA when they arrived and CableGuy got me going. For the most part, I get all of the SDV channels now, although at times I get the "This channel is temporarily unavailable. Press SELECT to try tuning this channel again. Contact your cable provider for more information." message. But I'll deal with that later.

I have a new problem that I believe is related to my cable cards. I am no longer receiving about 35 non-SDV channels. They come in fine on my other non-HD TV. These channels were working fine before the TA install, and for several days following it, but no more.

I get the following message for the channels listed below: "Searching or signal on: Cable In. See 'Messages & Settings'/'Troubleshooting' for info."

Oh yeah - I took the TA out of the loop and went direct to the Tivo and got the same result. So, it looks like a cable card issue? The TWC rep on the phone said everything looked good on the cable cards his end, so he scheduled a truck roll.

I'm having problems where I can't tune SDV channels at the moment for Austin TWC. I've rebooted the T.A and TiVo. Not sure where to go from here.

It seems TWC Austin is full of issues this week.

Sounds like you and mindflux's ta's are not in two-way. We need to do further investigations because I would know if sdv was down. Definitely not a sdv issue.

HELP cause TW Cable can't seem to. I just picked up the tuning adapter in Austin and I am getting the same 8 blinks of the light. I have tried restarting everything multiple times and I sat on hold with TW for at least 45 minutes. I finally reached the help desk where the guy didn't know what I was talking about. He transferred me (not without waiting for 15 minutes on hold)to a tech support guy who actually knew something about the TA but not enough to help. Anyone have any suggestions? I want my switch channels already!

Problem solved by a great, very knowledgeable tech visit today (Cy @ TWC Austin). Turns out it was a bad connector (the only thing I didn't troubleshoot), something I could have done myself. Sometimes the easiest answer is the solution...

All channels being received now.
