Given the plethora of threads complaining about how poorly the new Netflix streaming feature works and how useless the title selection is, I thought I'd start a thread to praise it :). List the titles that you've viewed on Netflix Watch Instantly that you really enjoyed (if it's something with an expiration date, please list it).

I've watched and enjoyed quite a lot of stuff, almost all of which I might never have otherwise seen (I probably wouldn't have bothered to rent any of it on disc). Here's some of the best of what I watched recently: Cashback (http://www.netflix.com/Movie/Cashback/70070482). Quirky indie film about an art student who can't sleep after breaking up with his girlfriend and starts to believe that he has the power to stop time. Available in high definition, a former HDNet Sneak Preview (http://www.hd.net/movies_sneakpreviews.html) selection.
Mister Foe (http://www.netflix.com/Movie/Mister_Foe/70063215). Starring Jamie Bell (Billy Elliot) and Sarah Myles (co-star of the cancelled NBC vampire-hero series Moonlight). Young man who withdraws and takes up creepy spying on people after his mother's death (and suspects his stepmother of murdering her) moves to the big city where he meets a young woman who looks like his mother whom he, of course, spies on. In high definition, another former HDNet Sneak Preview (http://www.hd.net/movies_sneakpreviews.html) selection.
Doctor Who, Season 1 (http://www.netflix.com/Movie/Doctor_Who_Season_1/70050023), Season 2 (http://www.netflix.com/Movie/Doctor_Who_Season_2/70059039) and Season 3 (http://www.netflix.com/Movie/Doctor_Who_Season_3/70072597). (I watched Season 1 earlier this year on the PC, before the TiVo and Xbox players, but I checked and it seems to play fine on TiVo). The 2005 reboot of the original BBC series, which ran from 1963-1989. In SD (widescreen for the first episode of Season 2 and all of Season 3). At this writing, episodes 2-14 of Season 2 will not play properly on TiVo or Silverlight (I watched them on my Xbox). Hopefully they'll fix them.
Coupling, Season 1 (http://www.netflix.com/WiMovie/Coupling_Season_1/60026312), Season 2 (http://www.netflix.com/WiMovie/Coupling_Season_2/60031448), Season 3 (http://www.netflix.com/WiMovie/Coupling_Season_3/60037580) and Season 4 (http://www.netflix.com/WiMovie/Coupling_Season_4/70019100). Hilarious BBC comedy, a bit like Friends. Very brief seasons--6 to 9 30 minute episodes per, 28 in all. 4:3 standard def.
Jekyll (http://www.netflix.com/Movie/Jekyll/70075070). 6-part BBC series about a descendant of Dr. Jekyll (whose story turns out to be true, slightly changed and novelized by Stevenson, to whom he told it :)), set in the modern day. Featuring Michelle Ryan, of the cancelled NBC Bionic Woman reboot, and Gina Bellman, currently in TNT's Leverage (formerly of BBC's Coupling). SD, 4:3.
Looking back at this, I've been on a strange British film and TV bender recently :D. I've also watched several current season US television series episodes (mostly CBS dramas) that I somehow missed earlier, all in HD with no ads.

So, what have you seen on Netflix Watch Instantly that you'd recommend? (I'm sure that I ask this in vain, but please--no bellyaching about limited selection and how poorly the TiVo player works ).

I've taken advantage of it to introduce my 18-year-old daughter to some great old films - "Bringing Up Baby", "Holiday Inn", etc. Also we've watched some older shows I used to watch on PBS (e.g. "The Good Life"), although some of those episodes still have technical problems at present.

Well, before I canceled my trial I enjoyed Flash Gordon (http://www.netflix.com/Movie/Flash_Gordon/509298), Primer (http://www.netflix.com/Movie/Primer/60034782), and Team America: World Police (http://www.netflix.com/Movie/Team_America_World_Police/70011195). :)

I really liked Outsourced (http://www.netflix.com/WiMovie/Outsourced/70068703), an independent, light comedy about a guy who is sent to India to train his outsourced replacement.

We watched through the first four seasons of The Office again. Started watching Dead Like Me.

Tried to watch the documentary series Carrier, but it suffers from bad encoding... I understand the spirit of this thread but with good, comes bad...
Like the fact that all the first season of Dead Like Me is available except the last two episodes. Yet the entire second season is there. So I have to get the DVD for the final two episodes of season 1....

Still, I have been happy overall. The Office was flawless and in HD.

So basically you are asking us what movies we've watched through Netflix? Seriously? I thought this was a thread about the Series 3 Tivo?

Deliberately missing the point, are we? :p

The topic is what we've been watching via the new Netflix streaming feature available on our Series 3 Tivos. :D

Star Trek: TOS, the remastered 1st season is only available on HD right now from Netflix (while Paramount will not discuss releasing them on Blu-ray until they have squeezed every last penny out of the DVD sets).

The BBC 'Day of the Triffids' (not in HD) is another I am dipping into.

I worry about that 250GB cap, though, but using DD-WRT I can see my usage.

Good thing the selection is not better.

What a GREAT idea. Thanks for the suggestions and handy-dandy links, I've added several to my queue. :)

Check out TORCHWOOD. A spin off of Doctor Who. Aimed more at adults. Although I don't know if it's available on NEtflix.

Although I don't know if it's available on NEtflix.Yeah--I watched the first season of Torchwood (an anagram of "Doctor Who" :)) and a little of the second season on HDNet, before my local cable provider implemented SDV in mid-summer, cutting me off from HDNet on my TiVo . Unfortunately it's not available in instant form at Netflix, though they do have the Blu-ray discs.

Watching Torchwood kind of sparked my interest in the Doctor Who reboot, since the origins of Torchwood are given in it, and there are some episodes wherein Torchwood's Captain Jack Harkness teams up with The Doctor and his companion-de-jeur. For example, in the two part finale of Doctor Who, Season 1 (episodes "Bad Wolf" and "The Parting of the Ways"), exactly how Jack Harkness became immortal is revealed.

I caught the UK version of the office, it was neat to see the differences. Watched some of the first season episodes of 30 Rock that I missed. I have a Bluray player so I haven't watch any movies.

I love the feature. Granted, there isn't as much content for it as I would like but so far I have more than enough to watch so i am good to go.

I enjoy watching all the OLD stuff. The movies/TV shows that were never filmed in stereo/Surround sound. So it isnt' a big deal that DD5.1 isn't available through netflix streaming. Since even the DVD versions don't have DD5.1

Such as Star Trek Original series, Alfred Hitchcock, etc...

New Movies / TV shows that I REALLY care about. I will get from Netflix in Blu-Ray. So that I can get DD/DTS 5.1, 6.1 & 7.1 in Uncompressed audio as well as the best possible picture. (Currently the Tivo is unable to do 6.1 or 7.1 audio, or to decode DTS-HD or DD-HD)

Either way.. Blu-ray, or Streaming, it still comes from the SAME Netflix account all for the same low price.
