Hi Everyone:
My DVR has been converted to TiVo but I have yet to receive me remote. In the meantime, can someone tell me what button you use to go back to the previous channel? This is killing me.
Or, do I need to reprogram my Comcast universal remote to work better with the TiVo?
FIGURED IT OUT: If you press the 'LIVE' button it will jump.

Actually, the Live button on the standard Comcast remote (as well as on the Comcast TiVo remote) switches between tuners; it does not switch to the last channel viewed on the current tuner.
I was unable to find any button on the standard Comcast remote that performs the same function as the Last/Enter button on the Comcast TiVo remote.
Using the Last and Live buttons on the Comcast TiVo remote, you can effectively switch between four different channels (two on each tuner).

milissa12345,
If you have a PIP button, then you're using the standard Comcast remote, not the Comcast TiVo remote.
Do you have TiVo service installed on your Comcast DVR? If you're using the DVR without TiVo, then you might want to post this in a Comcast support forum as well.
According to the DVR Guide that came with my DVR, the Picture-in-Picture On Off, Move, PIP CH+ and PIP CH- buttons are not currently implemented (pg. 8). It sounds like the Comcast "specialist" didn't know that.
I haven't had to have Comcast send a reset signal to my box since I had the TiVo service added, so I don't know if your issue applies to Comcast TiVo DVRs. It's certainly possible.
Can other Comcast TiVo users comment on melissa12345's issue? If Comcast sends a reset signal to a Comcast DVR with TiVo service installed, will that reset the box/disk to its factory settings (no recordings, no wishlists, no suggestions, etc.)?
