I've read the threads about no audio on Netflix, but I'm having the opposite problem.

When trying to watch films on my S3, I get audio, but no video. This only happens with movies; TV shows from Netflix come through fine!

I know the typical issue would be bandwidth, and that might be the case, but I'm able to watch the Netflix stream on my PC at an acceptable quality level, and the TV shows are okay. Using a WiFi bridge to provide a wired ethernet connection to my S3/Slingbox/Wii.

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance...

I have noticed a similar problem with YouTube. Does the missing video persist? I found that if I leave the program playing for about 15 to 30 seconds, the video will pop up. If I then "trickplay" rewind back to the beginning, I can watch the missing video.

I've waited for probably five minutes or more and haven't seen any video kick in. The weird part is that if I fast forward or rewind, the video shows up like it normally does - in a smaller box in the center of the screen. Stop the FF/Rew, though, and it's back to plain old gray.

I've seen both.

On NetFlix, I'll get Audio and no Video. Backing Out (going back to the menu) and coming back in usually fixes it. Sometimes I have to do it two times.

On Youtube: Sometimes I'll get Audio and No Video, sometimes I'll get Video and no Audio, sometimes NEITHER, but usually both.

Same fix as above... Go out of the Play mode and come back (no need to get out of the YouTube app entirely...)

Oh, and on YouTube, sometimes the audio is just garbled and trashy. Only a reboot will cure it until it decides to clear up on its own at some random point in the future.
