View Full Version : How can I report lineup issues ?

Every time a new channel is added by my small cable company , the guide doesn't reflect it. I used to use this link http://www.tivo.com/setupandsupport/contactsupport/lineup_tool.html

to report the missing channel but it no longer works. I have already reported to zap2it but I don't think they care too much.

Thanks

Sergio

Zap2it is tribune. They ought to care since it's their duty to provide you the guide data. You can also call TiVo and report it.

I think Zap2It responds about as well as TiVo used to (i.e., poorly), but more promptly.

which reminds me I need to call and bug again about them getting the frequency wrong on WHUTDT in DC

As others have said, you have to call them now.

There used to be several threads about this, but for some reason the forum isn't keeping more than a page or two of history for the Help or Coffee House forums.

So much for "Search is your friend"...

Thanks. I did several searches with hundreds of responses and nothing useful. "Line up" will produce more than 200 responses, "Line up issues" produces ZERO, "missing channel" also produces hundreds.

"lineup report" produces 3 pages of threads on Help center and it goes back several years

Maybe since lineup is one word ? Just guessing :p

Yea, I should have been clear.

The search function still seems to be complete history wise.

But viewing topics in the forum itself only goes back a page or two.

Check your settings for display settings at the bottom of the screen. You may have inadvertently gotten it set to "Last 2 days" or something similarly restrictive.

"line-up" or "lineup" are both correct in English. Check it out:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lineup

I didn't use the hifen because sometimes it confuses the search engine.

Cheers !

Here is a link to Zap2it that explains how to report a channel lineup discrepancy to them:

http://www.zap2it.com/services/site/zap-feedback,0,6935396.story

Since Zap2it (Tribune Media Services) provides the Guide data for TiVo your only recourse may be to send them an email and hope they read it.
