I've been using Amazon Unbox/VOD for quite a while with no problems. We're not frequent customers, but we pull down a TV show or movie every 6 weeks or so.

For some reason, the last TWO movies we watched ended up with the same result: the box spontaneously crashes and reboots in the middle of the movie. The extended reboot cycle wouldn't be so much of a problem if the movie was still there when we got back, but it ISN'T! However, it knows it's previous state because it goes back and starts downloading the movie from the beginning again. Of course this means that you have to wait a LONG time before you can continue watching from where you left off.

Both times this happened have been on the same TiVo HD box.

I searched the forums and couldn't seem to match up this experience with any existing posts. Surely this has happened to others!?

Well i didnt have a reboot, but amazon on demand crashed in the middle of Batman, dark night. It just went back to regular tv, with the guide on-top. I know for sure because the remote was on the set. This shows 2 very weak stand-points of Tivo, no instant fast forward to a time, and lack of programming integrity.

Am I really the only one with this problem?

It's probably the Netflix update!

No, you aren't the only one with the problem. My Tivo reboots multiple times during unbox movies. It's incredibly frustrating; really rendering unbox an unusable service.
