DirecTV to Comcast

For a variety of reasons, I need to switch from DirecTV (SAT T60) to Comcast. I now want an HD DVR. I don't necessarily care if it is Tivo, Comcast or anything else. My most important criteria are ease of use and reliability.

Can anyone explain my options? I am in the Chicago suburbs.

No they're not. The OP needs an S3, THD, or THD XL and Cablecards. However, Comcast does not yet offer ComcasTiVo (Motorola STB w/ TiVo Software provided by Comcast) in Chicago (Which is what this forum is for)
