On the Comcast web site the only option is to put in one's zip code to see if the Tivo on Concast box is available (in Palo Alto where I live it says "no"). But no one at Comcast seems to know WHERE the service is available, and if and when it will be available in my area. Anyone know if there is some info posted somewhere on this?

currently it is just available in the New England area. I've head rumors that Denver and maybe Chicago maybe getting it in early 2009

Very interesting. Now that Uverse is kicking some major butt here in the Chicago area, Comcast finally may have something that the competition cant offer.
Any details on what the comcast fees are for this service, and what do you get for it? Is it the full Tivo services or a limited stripped down version? Im specifically interested if we can get to finally use the home network to transfer shows to PC's. (specifically wireless which would require comcast to download supported drivers, but I would run cat 5 if I had to, since the box does have an ethernet port on it)

What about San Francisco? Shouldn't it be popping up there as well?
