A slightly different take on things. Talking heads abound!

This is how the world ends, swallowed in fire, but not in darkness. You will live on. The voice of all our ancestors, the voice of our fathers and our mothers to the last generation. We created the world we think you would have wished for us, and now we leave the cradle for the last time.
One of those episodes where most of it was pretty poorly acted and written, but contains one of the best pieces of dialogue ever written.

The Garibaldi-program retaining Garibaldi's ability to hack systems (which, now that I think about it, Garibaldi never even had... he couldn't even reboot without invoking Harlan Ellison's ghost, or making the doors open and close at random) and being able to apply it to the system on which he was running... Well, accepting that is the kind of pain you forget, because damn, that was some righteous vengeance. Not to mention a very clever way for JMS to let our friends be part of yet another pivotal moment in history. I just can't completely shake that it's patently ridiculous, though.

Actually I think it production # 501 since Sleeping in Light is 422.
But it was aired in 422's spot.
One thing to remember, is that this was written late in the season and on a very tight deadline.

Actually, it was written early in the process of writing Season 5 (Since they had Captain Lochley as a character name). It was the first episode of the final season order, but it was aired as part of season 4.

Interesting episode but I'm not a fan of the Great Burn happening.
I would hope that by 2762, humans aren't that stupid.
Still it was nice to see George Francisco again.

I'm going by airdate, not production date. In the grand scheme of things it really doesn't matter, I only posted the "fix" to appease you, Craigbob. I don't really care about production numbers or airing order. :)
