DTivo - Hanging at "Almost There"

This morning both of my DTivos are hung up. It seems odd that they would both fail at exactly the same time so I thinking that either an update was pushed out or something about the guide data. They are both on battery backups to avoid issues with power loss.

On one the screen is complete black which I believe happens when TVs are powered off and it is in the "DirecTV Almost There" screen. I rebooted one of them and hangs on that Screen. Anyone have any ideas as to what is happening.

I just had a thought that maybe my account had lapsed (using auto billing and card could have expired). All is well on that front, so I should be getting a Signal.

Well, I continued searching for ideas on the Web and found a suggestion to reseat the SAT Card. I powered off the unit and pulled the card. I let everything sit for 5 minutes. I put the card back in and then turn the power back on. Low and behold it powered up, got there :-), acquired satellite signal and I was back to watching TV.

FYI: I had previously tried just turning off the power and that did not fix the issue.

This process worked for one DTivo and if it doesn't work on the other I'll post a followup message otherwise it looks like I have a fix.:rolleyes:
