View Full Version : New Hard Drive, Series 2 @ 9.3.2a, Swivel Search does not work

I put new hard drive into my series 2 model # 540-0001 "tivo" brand tivo.
Loaded instant-cake onto it. I think it was on some early software version. It updated to 9.3.2a and. I noticed Swivel search plus a few other online new features did not work. I tried something called "kickstart 52" and it didn't fix it. Does anyone know what I can do? :confused:

Update: It looks like it fixed itself. I don't know How it did it? Why didn't it do it with force connections and such?

My guess is that it didn't work because you attempted to use the swivel search feature shortly after you installed the new drive and its software updated. It can take several hours for the TiVo database to fully populate and index and since that is a database-intensive feature, it may have taken some time before it could actually work for you...
