I highly recommend this series. Once you start, it becomes addictive. I ended up watching 2-3 eps a night sometimes. :D I think I watched the entire series over three months.

Unless the horror stories are about the DVDs themselves, I wouldn't worry about it too much. Just take them out and put them in a $10 CD case. They're easier to get at that way as well.

I've never been a huge fan of Stargate, though I've enjoyed the shows I've seen. It's one of those I think I could really get into. So the entire series for $99 is tempting, but I can't even afford that right now.
