Hi all,
My old Hughes GXCEBOTD unit bit the dust today... one of the two harddrives I had installed in it died. I dug out my old MFSTools boot CD and restored a backup from 2006 to a replacement hard drive and installed it. While I had the box opened I figured it was a good time to install the old Turbonet card I had lying around so I could do my "phone calls" over my home network instead of using the modem.
All went well except that when I check the software version, it says 3.5-01-1-031. I've forced 5 or 6 calls so far (over my home network, using ,#401) and rebooted twice, but the version number is still 3.5-01-1-031. The calls are completing successfully.
As I understand it, the current version is 3.5d, and the one I'm running lacks some important fixes like the Daylight Saving Time fix.
Will the update download automatically on one of these calls? Or is there something I have to do to force it?
Thanks,
