I have two different Tivos and I want to be able to watch the shows i've recorded on one tivo on the other one. But I have one of the tivo on a subscription that I pay for and the other tivo I bought online and am still finishing the 3 year subscription on it. If i reset the tivo will it also remove the subscription so I can put it on my bill?

Welcome to the forum! Your question is a little confusing but it sounds like you have one subscribed TiVo and the other one does not have a subscription in your name? If that's the case you won't have MRV (multi-room viewing) capability until both TiVo's are subscribed under your account.
Resetting TiVo doesn't affect subscriptions.

If you need the Tivo with the 3yr sub (I'm assuming prepaid) on your account, you can call Tivo and have the sub canceled and then put it on your account.

Unless watching one TiVo's recordings on the other is an IMMEDIATE need, I'd say wait until the "3 year" machine's 3 years runs out. You get the benefit of the time already paid for. To change its registered ownership now means you'll likely have to start paying for it right away. Why do that unless you really have to? If you can, wait.
