Swap disk drives in HDVR2

I need to replace the hard drive in my HDVR2 (non-RID) unit. I have a hard drive that came from another HDVR2. Would there be any issues with putting the spare hard drive in my HDVR2? Is there any special setup I have to do other than swapping the hard drives?

You can swap the drives, but it won't work right away. You'll need to perform a "reset and clear everything" to initialize the replacement drive with that Tivo's motherboard.
