I am running Windows Vista Home Basic, I have a new TiVO HD, and TivO Desktop Plus ver. 2.6.2, and a Linksys Wireless-N Broadband router connected to my TiVO with an ethernet cable, so it is not on a wireless modem.
Every single HD recording I pick to transfer from my TiVO to my PC fails to fully download, and the file size for every single download is 2,048 MB. I can play the dowloads, they look great, except that every show downloaded ends after 15 minutes, give or take a few seconds.
It does not matter if the show was 30 min long, or 2 hours long, they are all the same file size, and they all stop at 15 minutes.
In the upper right corner of the TiVO destop I see the yellow triangle with the rerror message "Some transfers have been interrupted." I am sure my computer was not sleeping and the router worked fine, because I even made sure i was surfing the internet a few times, just in case i had router issues.
I turned off the screen saver on the computer, and told it not to go into sleep mode unless it is idle for 3 hours. I aslo tried setting the performance, "Activity Level" slider all the way to the top for best performance.
Anyone have any ideas?
