I am having pixellation on CBS, and wondering if anyone else is seeing it? It started around two months ago. It usually lasts a second or less, and typically occurs 5-6 times an hour. It happens on just about *every* CBS evening show. Since it's so brief, it's not a major PITA, but it's been happening for several weeks, and only on CBS, and several times an hour, so I thought I would see if anyone else is having it happen to them?

Last night, I recorded Survivor on both OTA (HD feed, KHOU Houston), and cable feed (Comcast). I usually watch CBS OTA, but wanted to see if cable had the same issues. It does. At every single point where OTA had a video glitch, cable had the same.

Coincidentally, I was talking about Survivor with a coworker this morning (what an incredible episode!), and she happened to ask me (knowing I'm a big TV watcher), "Are you having problems with the picture breaking up?" As she described it further, I realized it was the exact same problem. Turns out she has satellite (she doesn't even know which one ).

So now we have satellite, OTA and cable all breaking up with regularity. Is it just Houston, is it nationwide, what the *%^ is it?

I haven't noticed anything like that and I watch a TON of stuff on CBS.

My guess would be it's something with your local affiliate, as I believe all of those sources run through the affiliate's system. Have you tried letting them know about what you're seeing?

I'm up in Minnesota, for what it's worth.

It didn't quite reach pixellation, but I did see very regular disruptions in my picture during last ngiht's CSI. They only lasted long enough to be noticable.

Call your affiliate- its a local issue.

Memphis (WREG) has been screwing with their signal due to the conversion, and their analog channel is unwatchable, while their digital is great

your OTA and Tivo are getting the same signal from CBS, channel 3.1. Sat. gets the same feed from your affiliate, so again, it all leads back to your local broadcaster. You could check AVS subforums for Houston and see if there are reports of it- here's a link for the forum

Do you live near an airport? Every time a big plane flies over here I get breakup. Naturally CBS is the only major network Charter doesn't carry in HD and I have to watch over the air. When I don't hear a plane flying over the picture is perfect.
