It was good to see that the rest of the cast is still there although they were little used. This episode was OK but not great: the happy ending is just not 30 Rock, even for the holidays. Most of Liz's plot WRT the toys was predictable, including the ending where she implied there was no Santa.
I did have to laugh at Jenna's totally inappropriate dress at the end though.

I got a chuckle out of "If you want to be hugged by an African-American, you should get a job hosting 'The Price is Right'."
On the subject of Jane Krakowski, National Lampoon's Vacation was on another channel just before this. I made my spousal equivalent watch the scene at Cousin Eddie's and asked if she recognized the daughter. For someone who is terrible with celebrities (she couldn't figure out it was Gwyneth Paltrow in an AmEx commercial, even though we had just seen her new movie a couple of weeks ago), she realized it was a 15-year old version of Jane K. within seconds.
Do you think getting the chance to sing on the show every once in a while is in Jane's contract?
