While playing an m3u playlist if I manually skip to the next song it will pause after playing the next song. From then on it will only play one song in the list at a time. You have to keep hitting the play button to start it up again. Resetting TiVo fixes the problem. It will play the whole playlist straight thru unless you skip to the next song durring the playlist then the problem starts again.

Any ideas? I assume I have the latest TiVo software, 11.0-1-2-648, and version 2.6.2 (306263) Desktop

It's a well-known problem, with no solution other than the one you've already found. Although, there are two different ways to skip -- one that skips a track entirely (channel up? I forget), and one that skips to near the end of the current track (the advance/skip button, IIRC). The latter may not evoke the problem. (It seems to work on pyTivo; I'm not sure about TiVo Desktop.)

Hey, thanks for the reply.
Well that figures. I searched the forums and didn't see anything abour it. Good to know it's known about and not just my problem. You'd think TiVo would respond and fix it. I used the Channel up command to skip songs so that aligns with what's known.

I develop my playlists on the PC and then at some point play them through Tivo. When a song doesn't work in the grand scheme of things I skip to the next and then try to remember to delete the song later from the list.

It's frustrating. So, I sold all my Tivo stock (not because of this, the economy sucks). I've yet to find a technology product that solves all the issues and is really concerned about the end user. TiVo tries but the last thing consumers need is another monthly bill.
