Read through the 6.4a thread and didn't see anything about these changes. Can anyone confirm that these are changes with 6.4a?
If I have two programs recording, a scheduled recording on the viewing tuner, and a suggestion on the other tuner, and I change channels, it tells me that a program is recording and asks for confirmation that I want to cancel the program. If I flip tuners and the suggestion is on-screen, it doesn't ask and politely changes the channel. I don't recall this happening before. It used to just go ahead and change the tuner recording the suggestion without me having to flip.
Watching currently recording shows from "Now Playing" is now really annoying. I often watch from "Now Playing" so that I can change to some other program and come back at this point. But now if my current spot in the program is within 5 minutes of "now" and I leave the program, when I return it starts playing at the beginning. This loses my position in the program. I have to remember to back up at least 5 minutes if I've caught up to live before leaving the show. Otherwise I have to work to find my old spot.
Anyone else see these? The first is quirky, the second is painful when I'm watching sports and catch up to live.
Thanks!
