I have this listed on eBay: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=120347098059

Can't find any rules precluding such a 'public service announcement', mod's please move/remove if it does.

I think, if you get much more than that, that I might be putting mine up for sale soon.

Well, looks like I called it wrong. I have seen a number of 810H's with only BASIC go for the 250-270 range over the last week few months (as recently as a couple of weeks ago). So figure my offer prices would either be good for a lazy buy on BIN, or at least get some bidding going. So far I've had a direct contact suggesting $325. Unless the bidding gets going I think I might pull it - probably not worth letting the lifetime sub. go for that price. It's still useful for SD until 2011 at least according to the Comcast tech. who installed the M-Card in my THD.

I'm thinking of switching to FiOS, and have a TiVo S3, and I haven't burned a DVD in months, so I'm thinking that I could do better with the money (maybe put towards a new lifetime service contract on a TiVo HD).

I have this same unit - and it has performed well for us - moving it to the kids room - what is it about 2011 that will make this unit no longer viable?

I believe the answer to your question would require asking the specific Comcast tech. who made the comment.

He said they will be carrying some form of SD thru October 2011 but it's slated to all be HD thereafter (right now).
