Hello All- first post from new member,
I see many of you have multiple DVRs so hopefully someone has an answer to this question.
I have 2 Samsung DirecTV Tivo DVRs in the same room with RF outputs distributed to multiple TVs in other rooms via RF modulator. Using remotes through IR repeaters in other rooms works great, it's just a pain keeping track of which remote is assigned address for receiver 1 or 2.
Is there a way to program the remotes to get the SAT/TV switch to function like the DVR1/DVR2 switch on a non-DirecTV Tivo?
Thanks

No, you're going to have to buy one that actually has that switch - they ain't THAT expensive:

$29-$35 really isn't that much $$$ for the convenience it gives you - I use two of them for 4 Tivos'; 1 black & 1 silver, which makes it VERY easy to keep track of all 4 DVR's. I duplicated this in the basement as well - I use RF modulated out on ALL my DVR's throughout the house (have 4 OTHER DVR's besides the Tivo's) & trust me, it's was worth the price of these remotes.
