I have a Series 3 Tivo and HD Tivo which are both connected to my home network. I just purchased the slingbox pro and was wondering if I will be able to hook up both Tivos if they are in separate floors of my house. Does the SB have to plug directly into each Tivo or just be networked? If directly, can my wife be watching a recorded show on the tivo while I am on the computer watching a live channel using one of the two Tivo tuners? Thanks.

No, and no. The Slingbox controls the unit it's attached to directly. If you're in China at a hotel, and sling...then change the channel, those watching that unit will see the channel change. Think of you on your Slingbox as being in that room controlling that tv.

I have my SB controlling a non-hd S2 TiVo in the basement so I don't interrupt others' viewings.

Ok, so it sounds like I should hook it up to the HD Tivo in the basement which is seldom used after the kids go to sleep. Downside is I don't record many shows on that unit but I guess I can just set up season passes on it as well. Thanks for the info.
