My provider added about 25-30 new HD channels this week. All week long the guide data has indicated 'to be announced". I submitted a request on TiVos web site.

I have forced a few downloads and performed a guided setup again, but still no data.

How long does it usually take before the guide is updated?

In my Comcast market it has routinely taken 24 hours.

Apparently, YMMV.

Wow... I don't think we even have 25 HD channels overall here in North Jersey Comcast.

Nothing gets updated in the TiVo program guide if the cable company doesn't inform Tribute of the change, which happens on occasion. Take out some insurance: REPORT the missing channels using the form provided by TiVo on their website.

You will notice in my OP, that I already did that.

I had a channel that had that same problem and it lasted for a couple months before I reported it.

About two days after my initial report, I got a follow up email requesting more information and then it was another couple of days before the guide data was corrected.

Whenever lineup changes, such as channel additions, happen in my Comcast service area, it seems to take over a week to get the changes. And only after I submit the info on the lineup issue page. Maybe I am being impatient, and it would happen anyway, but it has happened several times now. I am only a couple of miles from TiVo HQ, so I cannot believe that I am the only Series 3 owner on my system. Usually the update includes things beyond what I submit; it's kind of like the TiVo person contacts Comcast, and the Comcast person say "oh yes, now that you ask, we did update the lineup in that area, and here are the changes".

We've had FoxNewsHD, FXHD, and SpeedHD for nearly 3 weeks here in Tallahassee, FL and still no guide data listed for these channels. I've submitted 2 different lineup issues and still no joy.

Closing in on a week... Still no updates.

The provider (Insight) eliminated some west coast feeds in the movie channels to give the bandwidth for the new HD channels (so no SDV thankfully), but those channels still show in the guide.

So there were probably 50 or more total changes that need to be made.

I sure hope someone from TiVo is reading this forum and this thread and can shed some light on why it is taking so long to get the guide data up-to-date. I would satisfy me if there was a "done by" date assigned.

I wonder how much THIS (http://www.newsday.com/business/ny-bztrib095957922dec09,0,4672452.story) is affecting timely updating of program guide configurations.

Insight Louisville just added 65 HD channels some are no useable on demand. The actual release date accordingto the Insight website is Dec. 18th. I called TIVO instead of hte online reporting tool on Friday. By Saturday the guide was updated. Tribune is using the Dec 18th date. If you are in an Insight market and have the new channels but no guide data just give TV a call.

With that many changes, Tribune is going to have to work with Insight directly before they make the changes so they can be verified. Until they get the communication from them, they will not make those changes in the lineup.

How did you find the actual release dates?

So you just called the regular TiVo support line and found someone who could help? When I did that, they referred me to the web report form.

I forced a download last night and the processing part took about 30 mins.

Afterwards I received a message about changes in the line up.

All new channels are now showing up. Thanks TiVo!

Now I just have to change my SPs on 3 TiVos to the HD channels.....

I have been without programming for HD channels here in Pensacola, FL since Dec 2nd. I have reported it to both TiVO and Zap2it. Seems TiVo got the new channel line-up as I got updated to the new channel numbers/names and the channel additions/deletions but no programming information. My Tivo HD won't even let me set manual recordings for the the HD channels.
