Anyone else have this issue?
I have a Wishlist setup to record my sports channel in HD (NESN) and occasionally, when the recording starts all I get is a grey screen, both LIVE and recorded.
Last night, while watching a music channel, both tuners began a recording. One tuner stayed on the music channel in grey with music. Pressing the LIVE button switched from one recording tuner and the other was grey with a channel description banner. I went to the Now Playing List to see the other tuner and it was grey. I stopped the recording and the picture was normal on the sports channel and I was able to start the recording. It's like three tuners were all going at once, Music Channel in grey that did not change channels and then two tuners, one blank the other normal.
So, in summary:
Channel 514 music channel playing on tuner 1 and tuner 2
Start recording at 7:30 PM Tuner 1 CH 851 NESN (GREY with Channel Description Banner)
Start recording at 7:30 PM Tuner 2 CH 621 Center Ice
Play LIVE Tuner 1 HEAR Music Channel but NO PICTURE (except channel description Banner).
Play LIVE Tuner 2 Normal Operation.
Play Tuner 1 Recorded NOTHING
Play Tuner 2 Recorded NORMAL.
I think this is only happening on this one channel and I think it has happened to me at least 3 times in the last couple of months.
Anyone ever hear of anything like this? I do have cablecards and I guess one test would be to eliminate the HD version of NESN and try the SD version.
