Convert for... option greyed out

I'm using the latest version of Tivo Desktop (2.6.2), and the Convert for... option is greyed out, both when I right click on a recording, and under the actions menu. I have upgraded to Desktop Plus. Any ideas on how I can convert recordings for my iPhone? Thanks.

You could try entering your Plus upgrade key again to see if it changes anything. If that fails I would uninstall Desktop, download and run the 'Cleaner' utility from tivo.com, then reinstall from scratch.

P.S. Be sure to print or save a copy of the email with your Plus key somewhere safe.

There isn't any place to reenter the key. I tried uninstalling, running the cleaner utility, and reinstalling (which interestingly never asked me for the key again), but no joy. But then I found the problem myself - turns out that you can only convert files which were recorded natively by the Tivo, and not my own files which I created for copying to the Tivo. Selecting another file worked fine.
