Hi Guys I just recently got a Series 2 Pioneer Elite Tivo and it was still in the box brand new. The problem is that it still has the orginal Fimrware on it. And I don't have a regular land line, I am using a Vonage for my land line.
I have tried the prefix ",#034" and ",#019" and ",#401" and ",#402" with ",*99,*70," for the calling waiting and etc. And nothing is working.
I can make the first call but when I tried to make the 2nd call it always fails. The first call uses a 1800 number and the 2nd call uses a local number but it seems to always fail.
What I am hoping someone can tell if there is a way I can basically manually update the firmware myself so I can use my Tivo Wireless transmitter as a long term solution. Or have any codes I can try.
And I the only neighbors and friends I got have either cell phone only or vonage or etc.
