Walters/Obama Special 11/26

There is apparently a special tomorrow night at 9:00 CST when Barbara interviews Obama. Tivo doesn't show it, instead having DSM at it's scheduled time. Is it safe to just set DSM to record, or am I likely to miss the interview if Tivo catches up? Or should I set to record by time and channel to be sure?

OK..

If you set a one-off recording of Dirty Sexy Money and ABC/Tribune/TiVo update the guide data to reflect the change and that time slot becomes "Barbara Walters Special", then your recording of Dirty Sexy Money won't occur since it will no longer be in the guide data. The "To Do" list/ Recording History will actually show this.

Safe bet if you can't wait to setup the recording is to do a manual one at 9:00 PM for your local ABC channel.

That's what I was thinking. I regularly record DSM anyway but who knows if the guide will catch up, so I will set a manual recording.
