Hello All,
We're in NJ, and was in one of the initial Comcast (Comcast of Garden State) SDV tuning adapter rollouts for those of us that were specifically using cable cards with a TiVo Series 3. I received a message to pick up a free tuning adapter at the local walk-in center (Cisco STA1520), and to hook it up so it would be ready when they "flipped the switch", so I did, and it's been sitting there in my media cabinet all hooked up. This was the beginning of October, and it hasn't been "flipped" yet. Today, when I came home from work, there was a message from Comcast on my answering machine acknowledging that they still haven't turned it on, and BECAUSE OF RECENT CHANGES BY THE FCC, THEY WILL BE RETHINKING IT'S DEPLOYMENT. No other info was given!
What is this about??? Anyone know?
