I got the service update and have just noticed a couple of things about the Tivo transfer speeds.
Both Tivo HD units. Both never upgraded with original hard drives.
One of my wired LAN, one using a Tivo wireless adapter.
When I transferred a show last night, I logged into my router and saw the show transferring from the wired one to the wireless one at 24mb/s.
When I transferred the same show from the wireless one to the wired one, I was getting 18.0mb/s.
What's really interesting is that the one on my wired lan was recording a suggestion.
When I started the transfer, it stopped recording the suggestion, but never changed the channel.
This leads me to believe that Tivo is working on getting he MRV speeds up on the Tivo series 3 and tivo HD units.
Anybody else seeing the same thing? Going from my wireless one to the wired Tivo HD, I was getting around 18-20mb/s consistently.
Nice Fall Service update.
