How can I delete menu items under "music, photos, products & more?
There's a bunch of items I don't use and want to make it easier to find the items I'm interested in (which, unfortunately, end up at the end of the menu list. CLEAR key doesn't work.

You can't. I do agree it would be nice to have the option to selectively hide certain items.

These must be served-up from a Tivo IP somewhere--someone (smarter than I) needs to sniff this out. Then we could at least block that IP in our routers...

There's nothing stopping you from running your TiVo through an ICS connection on a PC and watching the various conversations with the mothership with Wireshark. A bigger challenge would be editing the conversations to get rid of menu items. Given that the menu is sticky -- your previous position is restored when you return to it -- I think the effort is wasted.

Which works, if the HME server(s) aren't hosted by TiVo.

I guess if all these menu items point to individual servers ala Yahoo then they'd be a major PIA to maintain blocks for them all.
It's very ugly to have to wait for all that junk to load when you have a satellite connection as I do, and want only to get to moyekj's tivostream Video Streamer menu item.

Only (easy) option is to use KidZone. Then all the MPPM aps aren't visible.

Blocking 204.176.49.116 in the router does actually work. Problem is it also effectively blocks my own HME apps (on my LAN) as well. The screen will briefly show my HME app before bringing up a screen asking about enabling HME (forget the details of the screen), but there's no way to cancel out of that screen and get to my app.

"Enable Home Network Applications". Looks to me as though you've disabled home network applications altogether.

Looks to me as though you've disabled home network applications altogether. Yes I think home applications are blocked. Adding a manual entry won't work since that doesn't let you specify a port and assumes port 80 (which is not good for HME applications).
