Defrag with Tivo to go files?

Hello,

Ever since I started using Tivo to Go, I noticed a bit of slow down. When I checked my Auslogics Disk Defrag program, it had ALLOT of fragmented files, mostly downloaded .tivo ones.

Is this normal, and any ideas?

The .TiVo files tend to be very large, so will naturally get fragmented a lot more compared to your normal file sizes.

Also, rather than start a new topic....Anyone know if you can stream video from your hard drive (without having to redownload it) with Tivo Desktop Plus Software? Sort of how you can view music Files instantly on your tivo with the current desktop software?

I'm curious if it's worth the $25 upgrade.

Thanks My tivostream HME application does that for mpeg2 & H.264 files (see documentation for restrictions on H.264).
