I was wondering if anyone knew if there were any TiVo suppliers out there that sold TiVo's for resale. I am a new seller in the TiVo community and would like to resell TiVo's. If anyone can tell me of any suppliers, please let me know. Thanks.

Call TiVo and tell them you want to be an authorized TiVo seller, Their minimum order is probably 100 or more at a time. Where are you going to sell them from, a store, on-line?

I am selling them right now in my eBay store. But, the only problem is, my supplier only carries three different models. So, I am looking to offer my customers more that 3 options. Thanks for the information. If I get enough sales on what I have in my store, it might be worth buying the 100 limit. Thanks.

Right now, there are only 3 models of TiVo new, Series 2 DT 80Hr, TiVo HD (160GB), TiVo HD XL (1TB). Anything else is used.

Thanks for the info classicsat. I thought there was one more but upon further review I noticed that the 80-hr TiVo® Series2™ DT DVR records 300 HRS. or STANDARD def programming. I thought it was 300 HRS. of HIGH def programming. Thanks for your quick reply.

I think you got the models mixed up. The 80-hour Series 2 DT records 80 hours of SD programming, and no HD at all. Were you thinking of the HD XL?

The 80-hr Series2 DT is a SD only device and records up to 80 hours of SD at the worst quality setting. At the best quality setting it'll only record about 20 hours of material.

The TiVo HD 160GB unit can record about 20 hours of HD and up to 200 hrs of SD. The TiVo HD XL holds about 150 hours of HD, and up to 550 hours of SD.
