Saving in Spanish or Muted Shows

My wife - diehard TIVO fan - is having trouble saving shows in English. Some shows tape in English, some in Spanish, and some are fully muted. Any suggestions?

Turn off SAP.

Also quit using tape; It clogs TiVo's system.

Agreed. It does sound like somehow the TiVo's audio option (should be somewhere under the settings menu) got changed from primary/main audio to SAP (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Second_audio_program).
