Changing channels with H20 receiver

I'm having the problem with getting the Tivo remote to not select the HD channels on my H20-600 Directv box. Whenever I change to USA (242), it always selects the USAHD channel. It does it with any of the HD channels (ESPN, BRAVO, etc...).

Why would you want it to select the SD channels and not the HD ones? Even without an HD TV the output from the HD channels will give you the better picture. I see you have TiVos. The recordings will be better.

Anyway, just remove the HD channels from the channels list.

I don't want to spend the money for the HD package.

That doesn't work. It still goes to the first channel which the HD version of that channel. I tried it on the Tivo box and Directv box.

Does the H20 have multiple guide lists? If it's like the HR20, then one you remove the channels from the Favorites and then set that one to be displayed when you select the guide.
