Getting ready to go the HD route. I started looking at places to buy and came across this at circuitcity.com:

Note: DIRECTV services are sold separately. A maximum of six (6) receivers may be leased per year, but not more than two (2) DVR receivers, two (2) HD receivers and one (1) HD DVR receiver may by leased in a given year. On approved credit. A programming commitment is required and sold separately.

Huh???

Am I reading this wrong? No more than 1 HD DVR?

I have 4 SD DTiVos now. I'd like to replace 2 with HDs for the living room and den AT LEAST. Maybe one in the bedroom.

This can't be right is it?

TIA

Well THAT'S mighty interesting - a friend of mine just got upgraded to HD & they gave him TWO HD DVR's within a 30 DAY period, on top of upgrading his SD Tivo to an R22. (we're in a 72.5 market that's migrating ALL locals over to MPEG4)

I've got 2 HR20's myself, but I did get the 2nd one about 10 months after the first one.

It's all about the "special pricing". You certainly can have more equipment on your account, but you probably won't get any special pricing on the additional stuff.
