So now what? ( I didn't see next week previews) Does Melinda only see Ghost Jim, and everyone else sees "dead man" They have to start all over, cuz "jim" didn't know who she was. What if this dead guy was married?

Sounds a bit too much like "Dead Like Me" when he looks in the mirror will he see the real him, or will he see Jim.

Good question...that's exactly what we were asking ourselves as it ended. Not sure I'm liking this development...but you could see it coming a mile away when he put his hand "into" the hand of the other guy that died earlier.

I'm not sure I like this development, either. But I definitely don't want to pair her up romantically with Jamie Kennedy. Bleah!

At least they tried to offer a reason for why the police detective made such a lousy decision when he shot Jim.

I don't know what will happen either. I'm surprised that they didn't leave Jim-as-ghost for another episode or two, having him help her.

Also, I'm surprised that he didn't see any "evil" ghosts. The whole evil cabal---whatever happened to them?

LOL - I was thinking the same thing - Ghost Whisperer seems to keep having these season long evil plot themes that go no where with no resolution.

+1 don't like this direction at all. I can only guess that given his ever so small role on the show that "Jim" wanted out.

Wasn't there an episode where ghosts were inhabiting dead bodies (to go to a reunion or something) and the bodies started decomposing? I seem to remember something like that and that the bodies wouldn't last more than a few days and how it felt like they were zombies.

I just can't see this being good for the show at all.

I read an article where the producers keep saying the actor is NOT leaving the show...but I have no idea they plan to pull this all off, lots of viewers seem pretty pissed about this twist.

We'll keep watching unless it gets way out of hand.

If he wanted out they should have had him as a ghost for one episode and then go into the light. I do not like the new direction this is going in at all.

Could they not get Christine Baranski to reprise her role as Faith Clancy from the season 1? I don't have anything against Joanna Cassidy, but I was kind of jarred by the re-casting and for such a small scene.

They sure are going out on a limb now based on last nights episode (11-21).

So now the Sam dude is sticking around and we're supposed to think that MAYBE he and Mel will get together as a couple because Mel sees Sam as Jim??? And conveniently Melinda's pal connects all the dots at the last minute and is ok with Melinda trying to be with Sam.....? Oh and everyone around Melinda see's Sam as Sam and he of course has no real friends so he's basically a nobody there in town who can indeed "start over" without people questioning him...

Oy...what were the writers thinking when they did this????

Is this the 1st time we knew a ghost could take over a dead body? if so, then geez this is lame. What good is jim if he doesnt know it's him? She will just look like an idiot stalker following him around.

were the brother and dad waiting all these years to cross over..just standing there? I know they mentioned something about time but it would be interesting to find out if everyones family waits for them. Which is really not possible because then you'd wait forever because the family never ends
