Okay, I know it's Hasselhoff, I know it's bad, but I can't help watching. I'm up early in the morning and it's on Encore. But you know, if your a comics junkie like me ya gotta think this isn't too bad. He looks like Nick at least. We know this isn't reality so why can't I just sit back and enjoy the mindless entertainment? Okay, so I'm 44 and haven't evolved into an adult yet, is that a bad thing?

Yeah, I watched this for the first time a few weeks ago, and was pleasantly surprised.
Not that it's great or anything, but...
You're a hoot, Nick Fury. That's what you are--a hoot.
But it would be great after Captain America and The Avengers if they made a Nick Fury movie with Samuel L. Jackson and really got their Steranko on!

I saw this Hasselhoff version of Nick Fury a while back and didn't think it was the worst Marvel adaptation ever. He had the cigar-chewing and one-eye squint of the Kirby version of Sgt. Fury down pat. Lisa Rinna was horrible as Valentina, and I don't ever recall them having a psychic SHIELD agent, but... It wasn't nearly as bad as the Captain America movies. Now those were horrendously bad.

Yeah, now that you bring that up, the Captain America movies were real stinkers. Oh, and do you remember the, what was it can't remember her name who did the really bad Wonder Woman movie? Even when I was a kid I thought that was bad.
I just think that the 'Hoff had the look down pat. For me that sold the movie, at least for tv, wouldn't pay anything to see it.

If this is true, its only because there have been some awful, awful Marvel Comics adaptations in the past.

Nice to see Lisa Rinna without her lips looking like boxing gloves.

I am going to remain ignorant of this so as not to pollute my opinion of Nick Fury come 2010 (or is it 2011?).
As for Marvel, I think they owe their success thus far to Bryan Singer and Sam Raimi. Without them, I doubt we would have had such good movies after Spider-Man/X-Men.

That would be Wonder Woman (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0072419/) with Cathy Lee Crosby... terrible and bore no resemblance to the comic book character.
